May Quilt Retreat

We're having a Quilt Retreat for May. It will be May 12, 13, and 14 at Wendy's House. An email has been sent with details. If you haven't received an email, please let me know.

There are not any projects planned for the retreat, it will be bring your own project. Hmmm, can I finish all my unfinished projects in three days? Probably not, but maybe I could finish one project.

March's Meeting

In the last bee, I asked that you bring two half yard yards of coordinating fabric. Instead please bring a half a yard for the back and self border and 1/3 yard for the front. You will need your sewing machine and thread to match the back of your fabric. If you are interested in doing the mystery quilt you will need to bring 2 yards(background), 1 1/2 yards(focus), 2 yards (accent) and 1 1/2 yards(accent) . You will need to bring them to the bee on the 20th to get your first page of instructions. You will be able to chose from and easy pattern or a more challenge one. Yvonne

Our New Blog

I know we haven't been very good about keeping in touch, but I got a notice today that MyFamily is going to start charging. And I vote we don't pay!!! And my vote counts the most.

So, let's try and get a blog going for our little group. I am in the process of downloading all of our content from the MyFamily website. I will post pictures, etc. when I've got it completed.

There are a couple of items we need to decide one. Is this going to be an open blog or is it by invitation only. If we keep the blog open, I vote we moderate all comments. Also, who else would like to be an administrator? Or contributor?
